The package - including bed ends, a bed platform, an optional trundle, and optional under-bed storage boxes - starts with strong, long-lasting hardwood finished in a warm, go-with-everything distressed brown cherry. The understated beadboard-style bed ends fit snugly to the super-supportive slatted platform. An optional trundle provides additional sleep space or, without a mattress, serves as a wide storage drawer. Three optional under-bed storage drawers with casters are available, too, to catch favorite toys and seasonal linens.
