    [...]The directions were easy to follow, but one of the pictures showed incorrect holes to use, common sense though. Also, one of the pieces of wood was chipped and one of the trundle wheels was cracked. There is no number on the box to call for repairs/replacement parts. Our only other complaint is that the regular-sized twin mattress we bought is actually too short for the bed (again no mention of the need for a bigger mattress in the instructions). But, our 3 yr old LOVES his new bg boy bed, it is the perfect size for him, and I love that it is one of the few day beds that doesn't look girly. It appears well made and should last a long time. Right now we are using the trundle as a drawer (talk about storage space!) and plan to get a larger mattress when our son is a little older.

    Bought this for spare bedroom. It was the right size for 10x10 room. The directions are lacking, just show pictures and there were some new gizmos I had never seen before. You had to put one of these gizmos inside of a hole and then use a hex driver. One of the boards were not cut straight on the end and I had to use it on the back. The trundle does not fit exactly straight, but linen will cover that up, so it is a keeper. The wood is nice looking, otherwise.

    We bought the bed for one of our kids room since they still sleep together. So it is nice to have a trundle bed. It slides easily on our not very low carpet. Assembly was straight forward. There was a big scratch on it, however we assume more will come. So we did not worry about it.

    Originally, the bed came to the shipment yard damaged so it had to be returned and a new one shipped which made the wait a bit longer than expected. My husband had some issues with the pannels that go on the trundle not fitting, he had to shave off some in order for them to fit. We also bought a new twin mattress that doesn't seem to fit all the way around, so be ware when you buy the mattress. Over all though it is a beautiful bed and our 2 1/2 year old son loves it!

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      Like this bed a lot...perfect for grandkids' Christmas visit. Color is a bit more honey-toned than picture, but still warm & cozy. Fits perfectly in a small space and I especially like the rounded corners for the children's safety. Purchase a 7" mattress for the trundle. This will allow you to put on bed linens & quilt w/no problem.

        I like the bed. Got it for my 3 y.o. son - he enjoys his Big Boy Bed. The only problem - I received it with one of the main boards cracked. Customer service worked with me to send over a replacement part - 1st time - took about 10 days - got the wrong part; second time took about 2 weeks - got the right part. Happy to have it finally.
