The sweet, simple Emma Daybed-Free Mattress is surely what you think of when you think of a daybed: pretty, feminine, and utterly comfortable. The daybed's uniquely designed waterfall frame boasts charming curved spindles and an obliquely sloping edge, all which hark to the Victorian era. The soft antique white frame is designed with a flat lacquer that's virtually maintenance-free and complements any decor. An included free mattress let's you get cozy right away. Additional mattress may be purchased with the trundle option.

For a great space-saving option to accommodate extra overnight guests the Emma Daybed includes an optional pop-up trundle that allows an extra twin-size mattress to pop up next to the daybed turning this standard twin-size daybed into a king-size bed. For easy storage this trundle bed conveniently stows underneath the daybed when not in use. Please note that two twin-size mattresses will need to be used with the Emma Daybed, one for the daybed and one for the trundle.

A trundle is an extra mattress frame stored beneath a daybed, which slides out to provide additional sleeping space when needed. Daybeds.com optional trundle packages include a metal, pop-up style trundle. They can be left in the lowered position or elevated in the pop-up position to align with the primary daybed mattress. The pop-up feature allows the daybed to transform from a twin-size daybed into a king-size bed.

Free mattresses available are Sleep Time Mattresses. This twin sized mattress is constructed of durable polyester knit and sports a 1/4 inch quilted fire barrier on the top and border. The smooth bottom panel is also flame resistant to keep you extra safe in the event of an emergency. The mattress is filled with a double layer of High Density Dream Soft polyurethane foam for added comfort. Mattress measures 73L x 37W x 5.75 inches.

Creating a king-size bed out of a daybed and a pop-up trundle is easy, and with the Create-A-King mattress connector, it will be so comfortable you'll never know it comprises two twin mattresses. The Create-A-King isn't necessary for the transformation, but is an excellent way to cover the seam between the two twin mattresses.
